Update
Hey I am getting this blog thing up and going again. So here is the rundown... we have moved back to Twin Falls Idaho. Kertus is working at Fred Meyer on closing shift and I am working at the same place but I work graveyards. Ethan is growing like a weed and will turn 5 April 18th. We are in the process of finding out whether he needs to be tested for the school to go to kindergarten. My dad was in a motorcycle accident last year but is doing wonders if not better then the doctors said. Other then that we are trying to be together as much as possible and just going through life.

4th of July.
We have been really busy with working and just trying to be together as a family that I have not had the opportunity to post anything of late. I am really sorry for everyone. As you can see we have had a good 4th of July. Ethan loved the Sparklers and wanted to do them all night. He was with his cousin's that day because Kertus and I had to work. We went to pick him up and ended up staying there to watch the fireworks at thier house. He loved them and wanted to also go all night. He was never scared of the noises, even as an infant. But now he tells me, "I'm a big kid now mommy; I do it by myself." Mister independant, which is fine because now we are finishing on potty training! He has been in big boy underwear for a while now, the only thing is knowing the feeling when he has to go! Pull-ups didn't do it for him. In fact he prefers to standing up and he hasn't made a mess! Yeah! The only bad thing is that I am losing my baby and now have to deal more with a little man! But thats okay according to him because now his thing is wanting a baby brother and or sister! Try telling him we just can't go to a store and pick one up! We have done one better, at night, in his prayers, he tells Heavenly Father that is what he wants. So sweet.

Aren't these the most awsome things! They are just so cute! My mother made the dresses and got the doll for me for my birthday! The second is for October which is a witch for Halloween. The first is for February which is Valentines. My mom has made a dress for every month for her own doll to decorate the house and so now she is doing a dress for me for my doll now! The other pictures are to show you the detail of the crochet, which all of it is! Dress and pantalooms!

Easter!
Easter was interesting this year. Ethan loved dyeing eggs and was really good at it as well. He did not want to stop so I am thinking that next year we will do more. This year was also stake conference for us so it was hard to sit there for two hours telling a child that it is okay because he cannot go to nursery! He was really upset about that but got reminded that the Easter Bunny was coming to drop something off at the house! He was excited and when he saw his basket, he was even more excited! He told the Easter bunny thank you out loud so he could hear it because he was hiding and he couldn't see him. He got a Dr. Seuss DVD that is all done with puppets and candy, of course, and a new best friend named blue bunny. He also got that new outfit he is posing for me! He is so cute and just the sweetest, great kid. I can not believe how blessed I am to have this angel in my care! I just wish that he would stop growing up too fast!

Pictures of Late
Here are some pictures of what has been going on lately since the last blog. I thought that this would be a whole lot easier then trying to explain. We have a super-hero, and kid not wanting to sleep and someone loving the warmer weather and a very cool kid. We have just been working and trying to feel better is all and time has slipped away from us.

Good Ol' Snow!
It has been a while since we have had snow like this! In fact it is more now, the car is almost buried completely. We have over a foot, and that is just in Wendell! The roads have been closed all over the place, even to Sun Valley! They actually have gotten it worse, just like the olden days where we were practically buried completely in our house! But I believe that Spring is trying to force its' way back to us! That is okay because that means more movement outside and more things to do with Ethan! We are getting too stur-crazy in the house and need to do things outside! Like blowing bubbles and going to the park and playing with kites, and then fishing and all sorts of fun things in the sun that we 'can do in a potunckville in a little town' (hick talk ya'll LOL) until we move to Twin Falls. Just a couple more months!
Passage To Zarahemla
Everyone should go see this show! We all went to it and it was fantastic. I also got meet the author which is in the first picture there and we signed the poster with is the last picture here. We were at the premier of the movie and it was packed full and Chris talked to us for a while and let us in on some secrets of his. He also told us that we were the very first people in Idaho to see the show before anyone else! It was exciting and really cool. Ethan liked it and wasn't afraid of the Lamanites at all, in fact after the show was over he simpley said "More, again?" It is on our list right at the top as far as movies to buy for the family!

The New Best Friend in the Whole World! (besides me!)
This picture is soo cute that I just had to share it with everyone! This is his new best friend in the world besides mom and dad and it was the greatest find in the world! Thank you Dollar Store! Ethan takes him everywhere in the house, constantly plays with him and takes to bed so Monkey can sleep. His other best friend is his Elephant that he made at Comfort Critters which is a knock off or side store of Build a Bear! He named his elephant Dumbo because that is another favorite movie of his besides the Toy Story's and also Jungle Books. He also like Atlantis that Disney put out a while ago. This little 'monkey of mine is starting to get into action figures as well like Spiderman and Superman, Batman, Turtles, all kinds. He even calls himself SuperEthan! I am either SuperMOM (Yeah!) or Wonder Woman. (Smart kid! LOL) He still loves Cars. So basically I am getting more of a little boy then ever. Sniff, Sniff. Growing up so fast and it is only going to get worse!

Day with Santa Claus!

Yesterday on our day off, we decided that it would be the best time to go and see Santa for Ethan before it got too late. He was so excited to see him and when he did he ran straight for him and almost jumped in his lap! Then he all of a sudden wanted to play shy with him. He did tell him his name and that he wanted a Buzz and a spaceship for Christmas. We had to get a picture it turned out so cute! He has a shy, yet mischievous look on that face of his! The Santa was really nice and the kids loved him. Too bad though that this one did not grow a real beard! I am just surprised that at 2 1/2 years old, he knows what he wants. What worries me is that he is not shy of strangers. He will go to anybody, and I hoped that I would not have to teach him that this young. Oh well I have a little man on my hands and I will have to teach him things earlier then other kids I guess. I believe that is what my mom did with me as well.

End of November Adventures
Thanksgiving was a fun and busy day. Kertus and I did not have to work that day but we both had to be up early in the morning to help with the Christmas Sale the next day. Ethan played with his cousins and had a blast. He ate a lot too for being just a little guy. This morning when we woke up we discovered that we have been blessed with moisture in the form of Snow! Now it is starting to feel more like the holidays! Ethan couldn't wait to go outside and play in the snow! He almost had to tie him down and get him dressed before anything! He was so excited and so cute to watch! I got this picture of him showing me the snow on his gloves just right when he is actually looking in my direction! I just can't believe how much he is grown. In Nursery they thought that he was around his cousins age which is 3 almost 4 so in January she would be going to Sunbeams, so they were taking him with her to the last part of singing time! I informed them that he is only 2 1/2 years old and they were quite surprised because he would sit right there nice and still and sing and jump and move his arms when they would sing the sunbeam song! I think that I will have to inform everyone of his age simply because he looks and even acts it seems, older then he really his. My Little Man!

Tis the Fall Season!
The other day the family of 3, racked leaves in the yard. There is a huge maple and some others that just wouldn't give up all of there leaves at once. Of course, Ethan had to help so he has part of a rake and is using it as a horse for most of the morning. I got him to sit still long enough to get this adorable picture of him! We have been blessed with rain after we have fasted and it is getting colder and colder every night. We both have jobs as Cashiers at Fred Meyer here
and trying to adjust back to the working thing. It is really hard for me because Ethan doesn't want mom to go to work, he wants me to stay here with him. It can just break your heart but then I tell him that if mommy stays here then he wouldn't get the neat opportunity of being over at his cousins houses' and playing with them. His reaction: "Oh, yeah." The simplest things are just so funny or amazing. And of course he loves to play in those leaves. Ethan especially loves to lay in the leaves and chill after he is done (even though mom and dad did all the work), and before they are put away.

Ready for adventures
I thought that this picture was the cutest thing that I had to share it. It makes Ethan look like he is either ready to sail the seven seas or jump on a Harley and terrorize the local neighborhood! LOL. Kertus and I have had success with finding jobs. We both will be working at Fred Meyer and we start tomorrow. I am a little nervous going back to the working thing because I have not for at over a year and I am just worried how Ethan is going to take it. I am just glad that Kertus's family is around who enjoy to have Ethan come and play with their kids and to help out since we have in the past. Speaking of the other half, Kertus is doing dinner tonight by his creation. It should be good yet interesting, he has been doing that allot lately which is fine, get in the practice so when he goes to school he will have some experience in that department. He will do good in school, he will just have to do his homework, which I will make sure that he will.

Halloween Adventures
Well, Halloween came and gone without a hitch. The only real big deal is that instead of Mickey Mouse that Ethan originally wanted to be, he wanted to be Woody from Toy Story. That was all right with me because we basically had all the stuff to put together a Woody. He looked really cute and had tons of fun at the Church Carnival. Ethan had his first horse ride on my birthday which was the 26th, and afterwards he told me he wanted more and then he wanted a horse of his own! Little ones these days are just so smart, brave and just amazing! If anyone is interested. we have a picture of the Twin Falls Temple being almost done. It looks amazing and really pretty. You can even see it from the freeway.

October 25, 2007
Today, Kertus and I was on the 2nd day job searching since we moved back to Idaho on Monday. Ethan had a great time at his cousins house playing with Wesley which is only a year and 2 months younger then him. After dinner we had the funnest time carving his first pumpkin! At first he was not too sure about the all of the insides of the pumpkin but he edventually got used to it and stuck his hand in there. I still can't believe that he is two and a half years old, but acts and sounds like a 3 year old. He is tall enough to be a three year old as well but isn't.
